Precious Planet Ministry

Welcome! As a group of believers and doers, the members of Precious Planet are committed to assisting the St. Francis Community in becoming thoughtful stewards of God's Creation. On this website, you can learn what we do, why we do it and how you can become involved. We invite you to take a look around and see how you can become a better steward of Creation.

"Being a part of the PPM has allowed me to deepen my understanding of what it means to be a Catholic steward of Creation while at the same time making a difference in my own life and the life of the parish."

May 22nd, 2011 Blessing of the Bike Riders and Dedication of the Bike Rack
On a beautiful Sunday morning, Fr. Tom blessed the bike riders and we celebrated installation of our new bike racks. We hope that the bike racks will inspire all parishioners, those who bike ride and those who drive, to consider how their transportation choices impact the global environment and our fellow human beings.
April 17th, 2011 Sr. Leanne Jablonski from the Marionist Environmental Education Center (MEEC) spoke to us about the connection between our faith and caring for Creation.
